if you are a film writer, please know that having someone end up a skitzo as a surprise ending is no longer a surprise ending.  i will now expect this in every movie i see.  blah.  stupid stupid endings in every movie i try to watch.

______

the spring is in the air,
but your mind must’ve gotten caught by despair.
in there, the leaves are turning red.
everything will soon be dead
in your autumn heart tonight.
though that moonlight is so bright,
your wall of solitude won’t let it shine through to you.

          so take my hand;
          we’ll run away from this barren land.
          i have a plan that will save you from falling down again.
          i’ve got a light (burning bright)
          that i’d like to share with you tonight.
          it’s time you learned
          that all these seasons are made to come and go.

                   the winter’s hardened you into ice;
                   i miss the old you, it was nice.
                   i guess so much has changed in you
                   that you’ve changed seasons through and through
                   in your autumn heart tonight.
                   though that sunlight was so bright,
                   your wall of solitude won’t le it shine through to you.

                           let’s take our hands
                           and rise them up out of sinful sand.
                           He has a plan for all the children to find Him again.
                           where is your light? where is your fight?
                           i wish you could come back tonight.
                           it’s time we learn
                           that wordly ways are meant to be let go.
